Misumi Corp., founded in 1963, has been a powerful behind-the-scenes presence supporting the machine industry worldwide. Recently Misumi has accelerated global expansion to establish or expand plants and sales branches.

In October 2006, Misumi set up a sales office in Malaysia, followed by the establishment of the Vietnam Sales office in December. Through these sales offices, Misumi will better serve customers in the emerging Asian market.

Following China and North America, in the past 12 months Misumi has also deployed production facilities in Asia and Europe. Suruga Seiki, one of the Misumi Group Companies, started production in Korea in February 2006, followed by the establishment of a new factory in Poland in July 2007. Currently, the Misumi catalogue for assembly automation is being issued in 11 languages. In these catalogues, you can find more than 400,000 items.

I feel confident that with our existing production and sales network in Europe, North America and Asia we can be a strong partner for customers all over the world. As we move into the future, we plan to strengthen this network to continue to improve our service to our customers.
